Courses I Teach
I taught my first college class in 1990 as a graduate student. After three decades of teaching writing and literature, I have developed an expertise in the pedagogy of writing (i.e., the Research Essay, Multi-modal Composition, Business Writing, Science Writing, Grammar, and Prose Style) and literary analysis. More recently, I am reading and training in International Baccalaureate pedagogy (i.e., inquiry-based learning, metacognitive reflection, and project-based learning).
